Starting December 1, 2023 you can win money just for posting in the forums on C3VR!

This will be in the form of a contest with three types of payouts:

1. End of Month
   • Every month starting December 2023 the members in the top 10 of the Top Posters list for the current month will be entered into a random drawing to win an Amazon gift card.  We'll draw 3 winners randomly from the top 10 who will each receive a $25 Amazon gift card (via email, so make sure your profile has the correct email address)!
   • We'll keep doing the same thing every month through 2024.
2. End of June
   • Then at the end of June, we'll draw the 3 winners for June, but also 3 winners for the previous 6 months (also randomly selected from the top 10 for the past 6 months).  Those 3 random winners will receive a $50 Amazon gift card (via email, so make sure your profile has the correct email address)!
3. End of Year
   • We'll keep doing the monthly drawing through the end of 2024, and at the end of December we'll draw 3 winners for the entire year! Out of the top 10 posters for all of 2024, we'll randomly draw 3 winners to receive a $100 Amazon gift card (via email, so make sure your profile has the correct email address)!

You'll be able to track your status at any time by going to the "Top Posters List" from the "Forums" menu.

Rules:

1. New posts and replies to existing posts count.
2. Your posts/replies must have substance.  Posts that are obviously made simply to be counted as a post will not qualify.
3. Your C3VR membership must be active at the end of each drawing period to qualify.  This can be any one of our membership levels, free or paid.
4. Myself, Adam Wartell, plus the other admins, Norsky and Adam's Apple, will still show on the top poster list, but we will not be included in the contest. 
5. We deserve the right to change/cancel this contest at any time.  One reason would be that the same 10 people are always in the top 10 each month.  The idea for this contest is to get more and new people to post other than those who already do.
6. We'll post the winners in this thread at the end of each period.

Hello, I am fairly confident that those who are involved are not doing it for the reward. It's a case of helping fellow enthusiasts to enjoy, repair, diagnose a symptom, and results for a problem. Not sure if FB meets any of these needs, as I am not on it.

Yup! Something I've been trying to figure out for years! We get new sign-ups daily. Yet so few of them post. I can't understand what is keeping them from doing so. Or would what get them to do it.

I can't pretend to have been on of the most prolific posters, but I decided to make an effort after Adam's initiation of the contest, simply because he was making an effort to get people involved.  I never actually expected to be among the top posters, so the recent award of a gift voucher was very exciting!

Unfortunately, at this time of year there isn't so much to say - the car is tucked up in the garage much of the time alas!

Maybe it's time to find some photos of what we did in the summer.........😄

I feel for ya.  Here in Texas we are having unseasonably warm and dry weather.  I'll be driving mine this Saturday.

Ha Ha, The weather in  N.E. Pa will not allow the Rochester to burn any good octane.
