Markie...I be looking fer a coupe...I needs A/C....

Lots of seeming good deals on e-may...until you look at the descriptions, and mileage...
Mama says we can look around here locally.
The dang one in Austin got sold yesterday ...dammit...

I will keep a look out for ya Joel. I do a LOT of wheeling and dealing with bikes. The owner of the Honda store here is a really good friend of mine. He travels the country and finds some of the cleanest vintage stuff I have ever seen. I'll let you know if I find anything that meets your description.

Just picked up a Triumph Trophy with hard bags and trunk.  No pics yet.  Pretty sweet ride but different from a Gold Wing.

Good luck wid dat. After I backed my '81 out of the shop and washed it up after four years, it tweren't lookin half bad. Kinda gave me the ole ridin twinge again. Might just get it fixed an RIDE! It's definitely a fuel delivery problem. Maybe we can get together for a ride, Joel. Thumbs%20Up longhorn2942008-05-17 18:17:21

That's classic for multi carb bikes that have been stored Dwain. If you can remove those carbs one at a time and clean all the air and fuel passages while trying to preserve the throttling adjustments as much as possible (of course there are many styles of carbs over the years ) that usually clears it....Good luck.

We're gonna head out there in da mornin..Lake Dallas.
Guy says it's in great shape...new rear tire & brakes, timing belts, water pump, seat has been recovered(dam cats!), new gel handgrips, floorboards, etc. Said it'll prolly need a new front tire afore long. He ain't got no time to ride it anymore, but just got back from a run out to Bonham.
Anyway, i hope this one is in good enough shape.
Here's a couple of pics from him. He's also got it listed on e-may(3 days left), but he say first come first serve!

So didja?

I picked up a 2000 Suzuki Intruder 1400 with 23k on it.  It has a few minor scratches (he couldn't back very well).  Came with windshield, and bags.  It needs the seat recovered or replaced (minor tear on the right side).  Rides great!  Passed my OK written cold and passed the drivers to get the "M" on the license.

Now all I gotta do is pass the MSF Experienced class on the 30th and I can ride it to work (on base) every day.  It looks like 40+ mpg, so that'll help.

I'd forgotten how much fun it is to ride.  The wife likes it too so that always helps.

Let us know if/when ya get it.

Good Luck!
