Having seen that a few of you attended the recent NCM "bash", the next question is I suppose, who will be going to the NCM's 30th Celebration event in August?
My wife an d I are attending, flying into Atlanta (from Paris CDG), so not in our Corvette alas. We've attended a couple of previous Caravan events (still not in our Corvette, but with friends from So Cal), but have not been back to the NCM since 2003! They'll be some changes for sure!
It would be good to put faces to names during the weekend.....
(Adam will maintain a list of people attending here:)
Attending (9):
There is a good chance I will be there manning a C3VR booth!

I plan to be there in my silver 74 convertible! Looking forward to seeing people!!
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
We plan to be there. Be great if we can all meet early on.

We'll be arriving on the evening of 28th (staying in Glasgow) and are doing track laps on Thursday, so will be over at the MSP pm, but otherwise at the NCM. Plenty of time to sort out a meeting I guess?👍

Once I know where the C3VR booth will be, we can certainly use that as a meeting spot!

Adam, will you have any merchandise on the booth? I was keen to get a T shirt a while ago, but the shipping restrictions prevented that.😟 and, a window sticker would be nice.👍 Just a thought......
I will definitely have window stickers.
I only have mediums (and I think on 4XL) of these shirts left. But if you want to I can custom order you any of these and you can pay me for it when you pick it up. (There might be a small shipping cost to have them ship it to me, but cheaper than to France!)

Yes Dave.. I am sure it will be a nice drive back and forth!! Plenty to See!
See ya then
Dan
We are also staying a little outside BG, in Glasgow, KY. I think about half an hour's drive?
We've signed up for some track time, plus the "Evening with Corvette Racing". We hope to see a few old friends from Le Mans there? And Olly Gavin an d Richard Prince, both of whom we know well, are going into the Hall of Fame, so we want to see that... Should be a fun weekend!
I will be there with my black 1998! Dave Wright and I will be sharing a room near the Tn Border, in Franklin Ky. We have been "room-mates" before when we had the C-3 gathering in Wisconsin! Hope to meet alot of the "new" C3VR members>
Hey folks,Leaving for Bowling Green Aug 22nd from Phoenix with a group.Staying in Nashville.

Now that we’re getting closer to the Caravan, I would like us to think more about getting together. At the last Caravan, I organized a group picture on Saturday. Back then we met in front of one of the new C8s. I would bet they’ll have plenty of C8s on display, maybe even a ZR1!
As Adam noted, with the Vette Registry booth, that will be a good spot to better coordinate time and place once we’re on site. I also plan to create an event on Facebook within the C3VR group. I know there are more members attending than listed here
Looking forward to seeing everyone soon!
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
I'm definitely hoping for a meet up with people from the C3VR! (I have to meet Adam, he has a T-shirt for me!)
And Saturday does actually sound good.
We're flying in from France and will arrive at the NCM on Thursday AM. We'll have to collect registration documents etc in the morning and we will be occupied all afternoon with track laps over at the Motorsports Park, and then the Dinner with Corvette Racing in the evening.
We have a Member Anniversary Ceremony at 9:00am on Friday and we'll be at the Hall of Fame induction on Saturday evening. There are also a few other events on the agenda that I'd like to be at, but Saturday looks good except for Steve Garret's slot at 12:30.
It's going to be an interesting weekend, the first time back at the NCM for us since 2003, so a lot to catch up with, but a C3VR meet is high on the list!
I actually set it for Friday, but for now we can consider it a placeholder and see what works best for everyone!

👍 Yes, Friday works too.😄
We are now going with our Corvette Legends club from DFW. Staying in Cave City. I've heard the first day at the museum is a zoo, but the second day is much better. May road trip to Dayton to visit wife's relatives on the 30th. Bringing the 2017 Black Rose GS. Haven't a clue what our plans will be.
Sounds like a hoard of people and a lot of hurry up and wait.
Hi, I guess if you are a pilot, and had any Military Time, you are already acclimated to "Hurry up, and Wait". Enjoy the time, it was a zoo at my attendance. The cost and accommodations are what lessen the enthusiasm for the program.
As mentioned, I will have a space for C3VR during this event. Space 33 on the below map is the location. Make sure to come see me! See y'all soon!
