If you're planning to attend this year please reply to this thread so we can get a list of folks together and maybe go out for dinner on Friday night and/or hangout together Saturday night at the concert.
I'll be the C3VR/C6VR official representative this year as Adam is unable to attend. If you will be there and would like to help man the booth for a couple of hours please check out this thread.
(closed!) And please join us in the club parking area by replying to this thread by Friday, August 18th. (closed!)
I wish we can make it. We can only do one far travel a year. We will also miss out on the C3 Extravaganza. Oh well, maybe stop by BG after our gathering in PF. That would be
Enjoy your time there. Get photos of the place, you, the vette and others.

Here's the response I received to an e-mail about camping at MAM-FF:
[QUOTE=Norsky]
Hi Jim,
Yes! We do allow free camping on Mid America Motorworks grounds in designated areas, Thursday through Sunday after the show. The accommodations are primitive however, only port-a-potties and hand wash stations are available. No hook ups, showers etc. There is a dumping station and water fill up, at Crossroads RV Sales at the 4-way stop lights just a mile south of Mid America Motorworks. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Save the wave!
Pursue your passion here.

Depending on the weather I may not be able to stand myself after a couple of days without a shower...!!!

Jim,
Karen and I will be there. We are # 8 on the list for the Motel 6. Dick & Jill gave us a contact there, she was very helpful and said the last few years she has put everyone on the waiting list in a room.
We would be happy to give you a break on the booth if you need it!!
See you there!!

The ride down from Mattoon isn't bad (at least not around 7am). It's very pretty (once you get off the highway) and no traffic. I've done that ride for 2 years. It will take you almost exactly 30 minutes. You can technically not use the highway, but I recommend you do until you have to get off closest to Effingham. You'll be on the local road for about 10 or 15 minutes.
Jim, did you set up a booth schedule thread yet?

Sure did - here it is. Anyone attending and able to help out at the C3VR/C6VR booth for a little bit?
Check out the top entry of the thread for some updated info.
