I have owned my 1976 Corvette since 1994 and have driven it for only two years. Then, military orders sent me to several assignments and deployments around the world, where the Vette sat in storage for 27 years! Fast-forward to April 2024, and I embarked on a complete frame-off restoration of my Corvette. Like many Corvette owners, my birdcage was very rotten and required hours of painstaking effort to repair/replace all the old metal. I am doing 95% of all the work myself, and it has been quite a journey so far! I am eagerly looking forward to meeting many members of this forum and sharing our stories and ideas along the way!
