Yah... ya gotta watch that stuff real close. ANYTIME you get a notice from Paypal(or any other financial interest)that says they changed ANYTHING regarding your account log-in, passwords, etc....it's usually a scam. I used to get those emails all the time.....so much so that I had the "spoof@paypalDOTcom" email in my address book! NEVER click on links from something you think is fishy, or something wanting you to change something.
For a while, I was getting notices from facebook that someone else was using my log-in from another computer, and facebook wanted me to PROVE I was who I was. Trouble was...it was ME trying to log in from another computer, and I couldn't log in at all. I finally had to log in from home and get it sorted out, but I didn't try to fix it from work, because I THOUGHT it might have been a scam.
Watch out for scammers.....they're EVERYWHERE!
