Hey, just an idea, but since the Grillmaster will be in attendance, why doesn't Ebo take over the grill duties, if we are doing that? Since there's no more Ebofest, Ebofest could come to us!  😁 (just a thought)

Trust me, I've already considered this!  Hopefully he will see this message and respond accordingly!  If not, I'm bringing my mini Weber kettle grill and we'll only be having hot dogs and hamburgers.

😈 Talk about a railroad job......wow

Never saw that coming .......

Okay Group here is the plan..............

Of course I'm not putting any grill in the back of my C3.....but..... I do trailer the car now to Carlisle so I have room. I'll bring my small smoker and will smoke a pork butt (2 if there is a large head count) so we can have some pulled pork sandwiches. This will be Friday at the end of the day. Where we all use to leave and go to the restaurant we will now stay at the fairgrounds and have a BBQ.

Adam will bring his small Weber charcoal grill so  Saturday Adam will Supply hot dogs and hamburgers.

For the rest of you planning on attending these meals we will need sides, if you have a favorite BBQ side you make and can throw it in a small cooler and bring it to pass that would be great.

Those that can not do a side ...... you can bring chips, water, soda, paper plates, napkins.

My Buddy Barry has always gone over to the beer cave with me to purchase and bring back some cold brews for the group so I'll sign him up for the beer. (since he signed me up to cook)

Please reply back to this post if you plan to stay for the BBQ's and then what you plan to bring.

And yes my pulled pork is amazing!

Stay safe see you all soon ebo😈

Toot... toot...   ebo - the little engine who could...!!!   🤣

On our way home from northeast Vermont to Colorado we'll be rolling through "Pennsyltucky" on Sunday, the 30th.  Haven't finalized our route yet but will be leaving Glenville, NY in the morning and plan to roost overnight in Bedford, PA.  It'll be fun to see a bunch of Corvettes while on the road that day...!!!

Mr. Norsky,  If you are going to be in Bedford, there is a Wonderful campground, Friendship Village. They have cabins to rent. VERY NICE. As long as you are there, you will only be a half hour or so from the Flight 93 Memorial site, where the plane went down. A visit you will not forget. Stop in and remember those who fought to keep other people and places safe!  A very solemn place.

Believe it or not we are staying at Friendship Village - but we'll be in our roving cabin (aka "Da Barge").  Mark, thanks for the good report on the place.

Google maps shows 3 options for getting from Glenville to Bedford - the southern most (and longest in both miles and time) would take us past Carlisle.  If we took that route we wouldn't get to the Carlise area until mid-afternoon.  The place will most likely be deserted by then.

*** Update ***

Well, a change in plans will have us rolling through "Pennsyltucky" after Labor Day so will miss the parade of Corvettes.  😞

Well for the first time in 18 years, I will not be attending this year. There are a lot of varying views on Covid and everyone has to choose the view that is right for them. For me the risk isn't worth the reward. Once there's a vaccine, I'll be all in.

I called my hotel and Carlisle Events, and both graciously let me rollover my reservations over to cover 2021. Looking forward to seeing everyone then. For all that are attending this year, I hope you have a safe and fabulous time!!

Hate to bring up the subject but has anybody seen the predicted path of hurricane Laura. At this point they show it hitting PA Saturday sometime later in the day. Guess it will be a wait and see situation, let’s hope for the best!

Ugh! You're right! I hadn't realized.  This could really mess up Friday & Saturday at the fairgrounds!  Right now the official forecast is only showing a slight chance of rain, but I guess that could change as Laura gets closer and more predictable
