I was there on Thursday. Absolutely perfect weather.
Saw Adam and Dave at the booth under the Grandstand. Was there with 4 other car friends and had a great day. Brought our own food to beat the overpriced vendors. Sat under the trees lunchtime. Bought a few parts but nothing big. Plenty to see and do. The $20 admissions was a bit salty but WTF.

As Bruce said, the weather was great. For Carlisle, it was incredible!
The dinner on Friday was nice.
Overall, it was fairly uneventful. Seemed less busy than the past 2 years.

Had a great time at the event and enjoyed meeting the C3 members at my first Friday dinner. Thanks everyone for the hospitality.
I did have a mishap on the way home. On 84 just past Port Jarvis a young black bear came running across the interstate and ran into my driver's door. I was fine and the vette only sustained minor damage. Dented and pushed the side pipe into the rocker panel and some big scratches on the door. The bear jumped up and ran into the woods, so I think he was fine as well.
Could have been much worse if I had hit him head on, so I consider myself very lucky.

WOW! That's crazy! Glad you are ok and your Vette is mostly ok too!

Thanks Adam
DITTO on the Yikes! I hit one with a S-10 pick up a few years ago. He was going the same direction I was in the fog on a rural road in N.E. Pa. Bunted him in the rear, bent the bumper. We both continued on our way. Not sure of his demise, but Deer don't fare as well after being hit.
