Hi all,

I just installed two 6x9 speakers in the rear area of my car and they look really good.  I also installed two new 4x6 speakers in the kick panels and installed a new USA-730 radio in the car.  My new radio does have a Sub connection.  I do not have an amplifier in my system yet but I hear the radio is pretty good without an amp. My goal is to add some more bass.  I'm not one that wants so much bass that it vibrates my car and the cars next to me, LOL, but I do want to add some nice deep bass.  I'd love to find something that might fit between the two rear speakers in the back if possible.  I would appreciate your thoughts on this as maybe some of you have accomplished something similar.  I'm thinking a simple, single speaker sub would be enough and not overbearing but would love to hear your opinions.

Thank you in advance for your help!

John

hey i just installed an alpine PWE-S8  powered sub in my 1981cargo area. its a self powered unit. if you dont mind it being in the open , its really low profile and looks good plus it sounds great.. its all you need to get full sound unless your looking to shake the neighbors window.  i have a new pioneer head unit going through it  and also powering the stock speaker locations (plenty of power from the head unit)  which do have upgraded speakers in them. the pioneer really allows you to fine tune the bass response. i listen to mostly rock and metal , and you will feel enough punch to be happy.
