My guess....too old.
Could be 11th week of 94.
I vote for the 14th week of 2001. Currently I believe the tire mfgs are calling for replacement every 6-8 years.

I'm going with 14th week of 2001.
I bought the car back from my best friend at the time, I think (????), I put these tires on it then.
Maybe 3,000 miles on them. Really, 22years ago? Damn I'm getting old.
What size would be the replacement? I think these are one size too big, as they don't fit correctly in the spare tire tub.
BFG RWL P225-70-15 are on the car and the spare.

I run 255-60/15s on mine. But I still have the original spare in the tub. It's never been on the ground.

Most any size should fit in the tub. They are quite large. I have 235x60 in mine. Just thread the rear bolts down a bit to make the tub hang down a tad more. 7 or 8 inch wheels should not matter.
225x70 15 was the stock size in 72. I run 235x60 15 on my car and in my spare tub. They are a little smaller in diameter than the 225x70.
I agree with 14th week of 2001.
Regarding the spare in the tub... The one I had on my 1979 was trash, and my tire dealer could not find the same type to replace it. I searched and found a new unmounted tire online and it is: 195-R15C. (an 8 ply rating truck tire/says load Range 'D' in the inflation specifications).
Just in case it matters to anyone, the correct size for 72' was F70-15.
And '73 correct size is GR70-15. First year for radials. Interestingly enough, the recommended tire pressure was 20 psi.

I remember the F70 - 15 tires. Wide Ovals comes to mind. The spare in mine was untouched since car was assembled. Looked pathitic compared to the new P225/70/15's
The tire store thought I was nuts ordering 5 tires. They screwed that up and only got 4, so I had to go back for the "full size spare". Haha
