I basically have completely replaced everything dealing with rear drive line. New differential, catastrophic failure in the original, trailing arms, shock mounts, all u-joints and half shafts. My biggest challenge now is finding a shop that will do a 4 wheel alignment on the car. It's a 74. I'm located in East Tennessee, anyone have a suggestion.
Since a lot of today's vehicle have IRS then I would think most shops could do a four-wheel alignment.

I agree with you there. The response I keep getting is, "We don't work on cars that old". I think the shims scare them.
I had my '75 aligned last year locally (SW Virginia) -- their only concern was if it was too low to get in their shop and onto the lift.
SW Virginia is very doable. My car is not lowered, as a matter of fact I think it sets high. Did they do a good job?
They have the computer alignment setup, and as far as I can tell, it is fine. The nice thing about these new systems is that they provide a color printout of all the alignment specifics.
This shop is actually in Mt. Airy NC, but I can't believe any decent shop can't do the same thing.
