My drivers side windshield wiper arm comes off the edge of the windshield when turned on sitting and while driving.  I don't see any adjustability anywhere.  Can anyone help me with this.   Just joined and love this site already!!!!!!

Wiper arm adjustments are at the wiper motor shaft by the end of the wiper swing arm, between the bottom of the windshield and the back of the top firewall...loosen off the two nuts and slide the swing arm in or out to adjust,  standing at the driver's fender you will have to move the swing arm towards you to lower the wiper blade, a little at each time.

Look in THIS area for the wiper adjustments John mentioned. If you look, it will become easily understandable as to the adjustments....Just loosen the nuts a little, enough to move the arm, and then tighten and check. It may take a couple of tries to get it perfect.

The arm that attaches to the wiper motor shaft with the adjustment nuts/studs is slotted, so when you loosen the two nuts, it allows a certain amount of movement....Adams' Apple2008-10-08 19:54:05

Gene you may want to start from scratch...undo the nut at the wiper assembly from the motor, move it out of the way...start your wiper motor and then park them. lossen your 2 adjusting nuts on the swing arms, and attach the pivot arm back on the motor and adjust the wipers in the park position, you can have a little...a little tension on the driver's wiper adjust the passenger one up about an inch, tighten the 4 adjusting nuts...now stay close to the wiper switch (just in case the one wiper hits the other if this happens readjust) turn them on. Hows that?
