I recently purchased a 79 C3 and I'm trying to find replacement glass or acrylic lens for my T Tops. My glass shop said they can replace them, but they can't find a vendor for just the glass or acrylic. Does anyone have a source? I'm hoping for smoke gray or mirror, the car is black.
Thanks for any help.
Have you tried Bair's Corvettes?

I've just been searching "79 corvette glass t-top glass".

They these guys. They are the original supplier to GM. Don't know if they have glass only but it doesn't hurt to ask.
You've replyed to an old thread that is probably not germain any more. However, I would imagine LOTS of us would like to know if just the glass is actually available somewhere. I just called the place you suggested and got a guy who believes they sell just the class, but was not possitive. He said the person who would definiterly know won't be in until tomorrow so he took my name and number and said I would be contacted tomorrow. I will let you know the outcome. I had to replace the tops on my '81 about three years ago and would have loved to have been able to get just the glass. As it was, I had to buy the whole tops and had to do it in a set of two which cost me over twelve hundred.
Correction necessary. This is not an old thread, it's an old guy who can't tell the difference between the date of the thread and the date somebody joined the forum.
This is what I've learned:
Melrose bought all the rights and even though LOF or Pilkington makes the glass, they only supply it to Melrose. You can buy just the glass from Melrose for 175 each. They have been very helpful through this.
Thompson astro tops makes an acrylic top that's lighter and resistant to breakage, but some have complained they scratch easy and due to different expansion rates, have come unglued. Thompson does not sell just the panels, you have to get the complete top with or without exchange.
ATM, I'm considering Melrose.
update: purchased the melrose glass and parts needed to make mine right. If you were at the C3 gathering in the Poconos, I had them on my car. I’m very happy with them.
