Camaros Crash the Corvette Party

Now through December, visitors to the National Corvette Museum can not only see unique and rare Corvettes, but also a display of Camaros! The exhibit hosts rareitys including Papa John's long lost 1972, a 1987 ILE Prototype, a 1989 ILE Original Production, a Yenko and many more.

Next Tuesday, October 19 through October 27 we also welcome Bumblebee from the first Transformers movie. It is one of the actual cars used in the film and you won't want to miss it!

As part of the exhibit we also have a Camaro raffle car - a 2011 Black Camaro SS/RS. Tickets are only $10 and the winner will also receive a certificate to attend a 3-day Bondurant High Performance Driving School!

Don't miss our Store's selection of Camaro merchandise, too!

2011 Cyber Gray Grand Sport Winner Drawn

Congratulations to Paul Denninger of Chesterfield, MO, winner of today's drawing for a 2011 Cyber Gray Grand Sport. Paul held winning ticket number 202, and actually had won the ticket at the Eureeka Springs Corvette Weekend for being a pre-registered attendee! We sold 374 of the available 500 tickets.

Your next chance to win is our annual NCM Cruise raffle on Thursday, October 28, but if you don't have a ticket you've missed out... They are all gone! November 11 is your chance to win a 2011 "Build Your Own" ZR1 with $80,000 cash option. We also have a 2nd prize of $1,000 and 3rd prize of $500. Tickets are $500, and the raffle is limited to 638 tickets. We've only sold 50 so far. Get your tickets today online at: corvettemuseum.org/raffle or call 800-538-3883.

Vets 'n Vettes Pre-Registration Closes Soon!

This year's Vets 'n Vettes event offers a number of new ways to enjoy camaraderie with others who have served. Thursday, November 4 begins with a Military Mystery Tour, while Friday is full with a poker run, presentation of colors by a local drill team, warrior session BBQ lunch and military history team trivia. Saturday brings the annual Veteran's Day Parade, a cruise to Chaney's Dairy Barn, a special seminar and banquet. Check out the agenda and register here!

In addition to the event, November is our Military Appreciation Month. We have a lot of special activities planned, like military vehicle displays, flag flying ceremonies, a memorial area and more. Check out our complete list here.

TUESDAY NITE TRIVIA

This week's trivia question was: We have Tommy Morrison's Camaro on display in our Exhibit Hall... what is Tommy's Corvette-related claim to fame?

Congratulations to Henry Burth of Easley, SC! Henry correctly identified Tommy as being part of the team which set two world records for speed and endurance in 1990 in a ZR-1. Henry scored a Corvette t-shirt and passes to the museum!

You, too, can play Tuesday Nite Trivia by becoming a 'Fan' of NCM on Facebook!
