Each of the outgoing board members was presented with a framed chenille NCM logo and engraved nameplate.

Schram Auto Parts and Reed Schram Donate Historical Documents

If you've seen the new A&E show Storage Wars, you know that the bidders don't always know if what they are buying will be trash or treasure. For Reed Schram and Schram Auto Parts in Waterford, MI a recent purchase of an old crate of parts resulted in some historical documents. The crate contained remnants of the Corvette Indy Prototype project- including two photo albums documenting the build and every part included in the build, a complete parts list of every part that they used, all of the engineeering drawings of the vehicle and custom parts, promotional photos of the car and more.

Reed and his Auto Parts company decided that these items would best be preserved at the National Corvette Museum and donated them to us where they are now a part of our Library and Archives. Thanks, Reed!
